Welcome!
I’m a therapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. My approach is compassionate, warm, and collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I operate from a trauma informed lens and integrate attachment, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), narrative, and solution-focused approaches, along with mindfulness-based interventions, to support meaningful and lasting change. I am also trained in providing EMDR therapy.
I work with adults seeking to understand themselves more deeply, build emotional resilience, and create new ways of relating to themselves and others. My work often explores childhood trauma, perfectionism, burnout, and helping people develop mindfulness and boundaries that support self care and fulfilling, meaningful relationships.
In addition to therapy, I offer trauma-informed ADHD assessments for adults, providing insight, understanding, and individualized recommendations for living well.
My background includes training in somatics, yoga philosophy and meditation practices, which inform a gentle, embodied approach to healing. I believe therapy can be both deep and light — a space for growth, reflection, and sometimes even laughter. Humour, when it fits, can be a powerful healing experience and a reminder of our shared humanity and resilience.
I welcome you to reach out and explore if we might be a good fit!

Areas of expertise:
I’m a trained EMDR therapist with advanced training in attachment-focused and trauma-informed approaches, including narrative therapy and Hakomi-informed somatic work. I also have specialized training in ADHD assessment and treatment. I integrate evidence-informed interventions with care and flexibility, tailoring our work to your unique history, strengths, and goals. My approach blends depth and practicality—supporting meaningful healing while offering tools you can use in your everyday life.
Why Work With Me
With training in both social work and psychology, I offer a therapeutic approach that honours the full complexity of your experience. While psychology provides a deep understanding of attachment, trauma, and nervous system patterns, my social work foundation broadens this lens to include the relational, cultural, and systemic contexts of your life.
In our sessions, I attend to both your inner world of thoughts and emotions and the external pressures influencing you. If you are accustomed to managing a great deal on your own, therapy can be a space where you no longer have to carry that weight alone. We will gently process experiences at their roots to foster meaningful, sustainable change.
This integrated perspective ensures our work is thoughtful, strategic, and compassionate. I also bring experience from hospital, community, and private mental health settings, and I am committed to ongoing learning to best support my clients.
I look forward to supporting you in achieving depth and insight that fits your life.

More about Clair
When I’m not working, you can usually find me outdoors with my dog, surrounded by nature, lost in a good book, or enjoying quality time with friends and family. I also have a soft spot for music and whichever show I’m currently pretending I’ll watch “just one episode” of.
