ADHD Assessments

Trauma-Informed ADHD Assessments for Adults

Understanding how your brain works can be a powerful step toward self-compassion and positive change. I offer trauma-informed ADHD assessments to help you explore your attention, focus, and emotional patterns within the context of your unique life story.

A trauma-informed approach means we look at the whole picture — recognizing that experiences, stress, and environment all shape how attention and regulation show up day to day. The goal isn’t just about getting a diagnosis; it’s about understanding yourself more fully and finding supports and strategies that help you live and work well.

Each assessment includes a combination of behavioural observations, standardized (normed) measures, and validated self-report scales, providing a clear, balanced understanding of your strengths and challenges.

What to Expect

  • Part 1 & 2: Two assessment sessions where we explore your background, daily experiences, and complete attention and focus measures.
  • Feedback Session: A collaborative conversation where we review your results, answer questions, and discuss next steps together.

You’ll receive a personalized summary letter outlining your results, along with resources, recommendations, and referrals to support your next steps.

This process offers more than clarity about ADHD — it’s a chance to understand how your mind works, strengthen self-awareness, and build strategies that support your well-being.
